Today was our last day. For the whole morning we practised for our performance at half past two. This week was very funny and helpful for everyone and many of us became friends. We really learned much about other languages, countries and cultures. I think one of the strangest things that we did was the Haka dance, but it also was very interesting learning the words. A really unexpected thing, was that we watched the film about Nelson Mandela! 

I think that we are all happy and proud about what we did and we can`t wait to show it and tell it to our families.

Up to now the workshop was nice. We laughed, danced, cooked, talked and became friends. Today we learned the Haka, it's a war dance, and the gumboot dance. It was very nice. Yesterday we cooked food from different cultures. On Tuesday we did a waterfight and learned about festivals. On Monday we learned the African dance.

Hello everyone!

The day before yesterday we had a water fight and we had  lots of fun.After the battle we were all wet but we were happy.Yesterday we cooked in pairs  dishes from different countries.Then we ate the food together.Today we danced  "the Haka" and we learned a lot of new,interesting things about Nelson Mandela.In the evening we maybe watch the movie  "Invictus" with Morgan Freeman.

Hello everyone!

In this week we had a lot of fun and the most of us are now friends. Today we did a kind of dance that is called "Haka". It's from the Maori in New Zeland. We also learned a lot about Apartheid and Nelson Mandela. Yvonne and Elfi said that maybe we can watch the Film "Invictus" this evening. This Worshop is very cool and funny, but at the same time we learn a lot of things. Yesterday, we prepared the buffet with foods from many countries.

Today we did a lot of things. We danced African dance steps and Jazz Hip Hop. We created our own dance and  we learned about crazy festivals. Our favourite one was that the players played football and volleyball in the mud. This festival is celebrated in Germany.

Hello, today was our first day of our workshop at the summer academy "Sapienta Ludens". At the beginning of the lesson we played a game to remember our names and to get to know each other. Afterwards we had to say what we know of our names, for example where they come from or what they mean. Then we learned a few greetings from other countries. After a quick break we learned some more greetings and we got a worksheet about them. We made Tibetan flags with wishes for the week together. Then we wrote this blog about our great day.
